So a bit of a long vulnerable post coming up --- In the next couple weeks/months lots and lots of changes will be happening in my life. Things I've hoped for, talked, and thought about for years now. You might think I am prepared, but the truth is I'm a couple steps away from being a total wreck most of the time haha. Change, even good change, is scary and it often hurts. So recently I've been trying to focus on the things that I know, but that sometimes get blurred up when life gets heavy. I've been trying to remind myself of who I am. A daughter of the King. That He called me precious and gave His life for me because He said I was worth it. If that is the case, I think I can allow myself to rest in the fact that He's got my future taken care of already. Even though I'm "not prepared" I don't have to try and figure it all out. And thank GOD for that. Because who can seriously figure it out? So today, I will take a deep breath and just one step at a time.
Because I'm sending this wedding out today and because my bestie was a groomsmen. Bust a move, Benjamin. 👌🏻
It was so sweet getting to see this bunch this weekend. Sometimes you forget how much you love and miss someone when life gets busy.. But gosh my heart has missed this family! I love my Dunhams! ❤️
So, confession...I am super bad about being in front of the camera. I hadn't had any professional pictures taken of me ever. Just something I had a hard time getting around to. I'm embarrassed to say I had a phone picture of me up on my website for a while 🤦 so I finally bit the bullet and had a very sweet and close friend take some pictures of me..so if you've been through my feed before wondering what I look like, here are tons of photos of my face to make up for lost time lol. Hope everyone had a great fourth yesterday! I spent mine furthering my awkward tanlines with home run Derby and swimming..not telling myself no and eating way too much food and hanging out with some seriously great friends. I'm so blessed with this life. Now that my week days are thoroughly thrown off, I guess it's time to get back to work. :)

I know y'all are tired of seeing pics of me on my feed by now, but I'll be home after tonight so the usual feed will resume ;) I've traveled a lot this month, but this trip takes the cake. My dad has done a few trips, but this was my first taste at backpacking. Most of our trips to Colorado have just been to climb. Last night I slept at 11,500ft elevation in almost below freezing temps. A bed will be a nice change of pace this evening, but nothing tops waking up to these beauties. This will forever be my heart's home. Leaving with sore legs, awkward sunburns, and a refreshed spirit. Till next time, Rockies.
